Shaqir Gashi, the Kosova native with a larger-than-life personality, a zest for business, and passion
and dedication for his native country.

Shaqir Gashi is a Drenica, Kosova—born and New York-based restaurateur, political activist, philanthropist,  and published author. Over the past four-plus decades, he has owned and operated over twenty restaurants while simultaneously serving as a link between the Albanian American
community, using his venues and influence as a platform for an exchange of ideas and a means of engaging the community in active dialogue and action in political and cultural causes.
