My name is Fisnik, but I go by Nik. I am 10 years old and I have been diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. I have been asked to write Team Nik’s annual fundraising letter. Cystic fibrosis has brought me so close to my family, friends, teachers, and especially my mom. She has been there for me every step of the way. She has helped and loved me . . . Life is a little harder for me than for other kids, and my mom has a lot to deal with. I am scared every time I go to the hospital. I wonder if I will ever grow up and go to college, have a normal life, get married, or even have kids . . .
