It is not a hyperbole to say that Edlira Duro has achieved profound success. She’s the Medical Director of the Preoperative Admission Department at the Reliant Medical Group at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts, as well as a member of the American Academy of Family Medicine, the Massachusetts Medical Society, and the Albanian American Medical Society. “Work hard, be consistent, and never give up,” says Dr. Duro. These were the very concepts she clung to when striving to achieve her dreams of becoming a doctor—no matter how hard or far away the dream felt.
