Once an immigrant himself, Dedvukaj now serves as District Director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, helping newcomers achieve their American dreams.
Albanian native Mick Dedvukaj has an impressive resume: He’s the district director for the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services in Detroit, where he’s responsible for administering the nation’s federal immigration laws regarding benefits. Prior to his current position, he served as Detroit District Director for The Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services; and as an Asylum Officer at New York’s Immigration and Naturalization Service—his first big break in the federal field in 1997.
