ELIZA DUSHKU

Eliza Dushku is a Hollywood actress. More than anyone, Eliza’s personality incorporates the Albanian traits of toughness mixed with feminine fragility. She has stared with big movie names such as Juliette Lewis, Robert DeNiro, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jamie Lee Curtis. Eliza was initiated into her Albanian heritage, by another famous Albanian, photographer Fadil Berisha. She soon started exploring her origins and documented her search for her Albanian roots in a documentary in August 2011. She was famously photographed with a tattoo of the double-headed eagle on the back of her neck and posed for fashion magazines with a çifteli (an Albanian music instrument). She has visited Albania twice and serves as an “Honorary Tirana Ambassador to the World”, nominated by Tirana’s Mayor, Mr. Lulzim Basha.
